Your island home for this celebration will be Hyatt Regency Bali, an elegant coastal retreat in sunkissed Sanur where you can unwind in true Matthew Landers style.
Accommodation for three nights (Friday 11 – Monday 14 December 2026) has been taken care of for all guests, including daily breakfast.

Please note that whilst accommodation, breakfasts, and all scheduled events are covered, guests are responsible for their own flights, any meals outside of the scheduled events, airport transfers outside of the arrival/departure window, and any personal expenses charged to the room. A valid credit card will be required at check-in for incidentals.

For guests arriving into Bali on Friday 11 December, transfers from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) to the resort will be arranged, simply provide your flight number once booked, and a driver will be there to greet you. A return transfer will also be provided for you should you be leaving Bali on Monday 14th December directly from Hyatt Regency Bali.

 

Travel Requirements

Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of entry into Indonesia, this is a strict requirement for entry.

All Indonesia declaration

You can complete your All Indonesia declaration within 72 hours before you fly. Once submitted, you'll receive a QR code - just save it to your phone or print it to bring it with you. In the same form (after you've submitted your declaration), you can also:
  • Apply for a Visa on Arrival (VOA); or
  • Enter details of your existing visa
If you forget or prefer to do it later, you can still apply through the official e-Visa website below or get a VOA when you arrive in Bali.
 
Visa application

Most travellers visiting or transiting through Bali will need a visa. The type you apply for depends on the purpose and length of your trip. As you're travelling on a holiday, you’d generally apply for one of these:
  • Visa on Arrival (VOA): Valid for 30 days. You can apply online or on arrival in Bali
  • Single entry Visa: Valid for 60 days. Available online only
  • Multiple entry Visa: Valid for 1, 2 and 5 years. Available online only
There are also other visa types available, depending on your travel plans. You’ll see these when you complete the form. You can submit your application by visiting the official e-Visa website.
Eligibility
A Visa on Arrival (VOA) is available to passport holders from 97 countries. If you're ineligible for a VOA, you should apply for a visa online before departing. Before you go, make sure to double check the visa and entry requirements for your trip.
 
Tourist fee
All tourists visiting Bali must pay a tourist fee of IDR 150,000 (around AUD 14.40).Introduced by the Balinese government, this fee supports the preservation of the island’s natural environment and heritage. If you can’t pay before departing, you can pay on arrival when you land in Bali. Some exemptions apply.

Rooming Arrangements

If your invitation invites you as a couple, you’ll be sharing King Bedding accommodation.

For families, you'll be in adjoining rooms or adjacent from each other.

For single travellers, some rooms may be luxurious twin-share accommodation. If this applies to you, I’ll liaise directly to ensure pairings are comfortable, well-matched and mutually agreed upon.

It is important to me, that each of you will have a beautifully appointed space to unwind, reflect, and prepare for the celebrations ahead. I recently visited the Hyatt Regency Bali and this is absolutely the place for this.

 

Extending Your Stay

You’re welcome to arrive earlier or extend your stay beyond the celebration dates either at Hyatt Regency Bali (subject to availability) or another property of your choosing. Any additional nights outside of 11/12/26-14/12/26 will be at your own expense.

 

RSVP & Confirmation

Your presence means the world and to ensure every detail is perfectly prepared, I’ll need to confirm final numbers with the resort.
Please RSVP by Sunday 30 March 2026 to confirm your attendance.

Once your RSVP is received, I’ll be in touch in the months leading up to the event for the following details:

  • Flight details (if you require airport transfers)
  • Any dietary requirements or preferences

The Arrival

Welcome to Bali.
Check in, exhale, and settle into your home for the weekend — Hyatt Regency Bali, where breakfast is included daily. For those arriving on Friday, airport transfers will be arranged for you, please share your flight details when you have them available so a driver can greet you on arrival.

The day is yours to unwind, explore, and ease into island time. Dinner this evening is at your leisure. Think of it as your first taste of Bali’s rhythm before the celebrations begin.

Please note a credit card is required at check-in for incidentals. Check-in is from 3pm, local time.

The Nude Soirée
The formalities of turning 40

After breakfast, enjoy your day as you wish, poolside, spa, or adventure. Later in the day, we gather for an evening of celebration: dinner, drinks, and dancing as the sun sets on forty years.

Dress code: Nude Only.
Not that kind of nude! The main celebration calls for a palette of pure restraint. Every tone of nude, and nothing more.
Think white, cream, ivory, sand, taupe, blush and biscuit. No bold colour, no hideous print, just texture, tone and lots (and lots) of accessories.

Style Notes:
Linen and silk. Bare shoulders and open shirts. Flowing kaftans, wide-leg trousers, light layers that move with the breeze. Adorn with excessive accessories as you see fit.
The brief is simple: elegant, effortless, and entirely neutral.

Spirit of the evening:
Sunset. Bubbles. Barefoot sophistication.

Everything for the evening is taken care of — all you need to do is arrive ready to celebrate.

Landers Beach Club
The Birthday Edition
The big day itself. 40 is now officially upon us and it's time to PARTY!

Start slow with breakfast and enjoy a lazy day, then in the afternoon get ready for the grand finale, an unapologetically indulgent sunset and evening at Atlas Beach Club. Expect the full Matthew Landers experience. Private security, an excessive dedicated space, free flowing drinks, loud music, and the kind of energy only found in the company of the best people.

Dress code: Beach Club Decadence.
Go bold. Go dramatic. Think White Lotus meets Met Gala After Dark. The more extravagant, the better. If you own it and it’s fabulous, this is the moment to wear it.

Everything for the evening is taken care of — all you need to do is arrive ready to celebrate.
Group transfers between Hyatt Regency Bali and from Atlas Beach Club will be arranged, with a return options at set times. For those heading back early, you’re welcome to leave when "you've had as much fun as you can have" at your own expense.
